哈尔科夫所属的哈尔科夫州州长辛耶胡波夫说，乌军经过激烈巷战后击退俄军，现在已经敌人「清空」，纷纷投降缴械。他在脸书上说：「哈尔科夫控制权完全是我们的了！已完全把敌军从这个城市清空。俄国敌人军心溃散。」

在基辅，俄军飞弹击中基辅郊外一座核废料处理场，摧毁可侦测放射性物质外洩设备，基辅以南约卅公里瓦西里基夫附近发生两次巨大爆炸。然而，奉命猎杀泽伦斯基的车臣特种部队遭歼灭，五十六辆战车车队在基辅东北部的霍斯托梅尔被炸毁，乌军还杀死车臣军第二号人物、有「战争之王」之称的图沙耶夫。
