美国北加州葡萄酒乡纳帕山谷（Napa
Valley）核心地区，今天因风势窜起野火，火势蔓延逾1000英亩（404公顷）土地，数个社区与一家医院被迫疏散。
当局表示，名为“玻璃之火”（Glass
Fire）的大火，在距离旧金山北部120公里处的卡利斯托加（Calistoga）东部爆发，并朝向邻近城镇鹿园（Deer
Park）与圣赫勒拿（St. Helena）蔓延，野火距离“基督复临圣赫勒拿医院”（the Adventist Health St.
Helena hospital）不到1英里（1.6公里）。
医院发言人告诉路透社说，医院内55名病患，约从今晨7时开始，陆续由救护车与直升机接送，目前都已安全撤离，整个疏散作业约花费5个小时。
加州森林防火厅（CalFire)表示，今天也对纳帕郡（Napa County）几个社区发布疏散令。

下午1时30分前，在强风助燃下，大火烧毁约1200英亩的起伏丘陵地。
目前尚未有伤亡传出，但根据路透社摄影记者在圣赫勒拿所见，有些建物已被焚毁。
纳帕山谷为世界闻名的高级葡萄酒产区之一，过去几年来因为湾区内与附近发生一连串野火而遭受损害。
太平洋瓦电公司（Pacific Gas and Electric
Company）已宣布，加州中部与北部16郡的输配电线暂时关闭，以因应在高热干燥风势下而升高的野火风险。
电力公司表示，公共输配电系统为安全而关闭，影响区域内约6万5000户家庭与商业用电。
