Hills）地区，6日测到华氏121度（约摄氏49.4度）的高温，创下当地史上最热的纪录。
据《ABC》报导，洛杉矶郡的华氏121度比2006年的最高纪录多出2度，美国国家气象局表示，伍德兰希尔斯的温度可能还会进一步上升，许多气温纪录将被打破。
事实上，加州在8月时就因为高温和雷暴导致大规模的野火，这几天也出现了森林火灾让部分居民受困。环保主义者警告，气候变化将使热浪变得更久更严重。
