7月8日下午，暴风雨席卷全州，并迅速生成多个龙卷风，追风者马兹（Michael
Marz）在难以置信的近距离下幸运拦截到其中一个。
只见他跳下卡车，目睹数公尺外龙卷风的威力，周围可见飞散著碎片。“我的老天！”影片中可听到他不断发出惊叹。
马兹事后告诉Newsflare：“这是我有史以来最接近的拦截，今天我做了六次，我甚至还下车，走向龙卷风。”
