杨紫琼将获美国总统自由勋章 该奖由肯尼迪设立

据马来西亚媒体报道，杨紫琼将于5月3日在白宫被美国总统拜登(Joe Biden)授予平民最高荣誉“总统自由勋章”(Presidential Medal of Freedom)。

据悉，该奖由已故美国总统约翰·肯尼迪于1963年设立，旨在表彰对美国防卫、国家利益、世界和平、文化、其他公共或私人领域作出杰出贡献的人士，受奖者不需要为美国公民，并且可以追授。
