美国太空总署（NASA）日前捕捉到一俏皮的景象。据英国《卫报》报导，NASA于推特上“晒”出一张看似太阳在微笑的照片，除了萌翻一众网友外，其真实成因也曝光。
NASA于推特上提到，太阳动力学天文台（Solar Dynamics Observatory, SDO）捕捉到了太阳正“微笑”。
在紫外光下，太阳上的这些暗斑被称为日冕洞（coronal hole），是高速太阳风喷入太空的区块。
据报导，太阳动力学天文台是一项旨在观测太阳活动如何产生并驱动太空天气的机构任务。该天文台的太空船于2010年2月首次发射，测量太阳的内部、大气、磁场和能量输出。
尽管这样的太阳看似很友善，但专家警告，太阳的日冕洞或意味着太阳风暴将于29日袭击地球。报导指出，太阳风暴是来自太阳表面的各种质量和能量爆发，反过来又使地球磁场变形。风暴亦增加了北半球和南半球极光的能见度。
